Therapeutic uses: acne, colds, colic, diarrhoea, engorged breasts, fainting, fevers, halitosis, headaches, indigestion, influenza, insect repellent, mental fatigue, migraine, nausea, scabies, shock, sinusitis, vertigo and vomiting. Peppermint is for people who are too proud or who look down on others and the way they live their lives. They hide their own fear of anything different by taking a higher moral stance and critiscise while at the same time feeling proud of their own exemplary life. This oil gently allows them to let go of their egos, their joyfulness and to let them see beneath so they can grow and accept others in their differences.
Toxicity/potential hazards/contra-indications: pregnancy, high concentrations and dilutions, avoid with cardiac problems as it can produce palpitations, children under 5, skin irritant. Peppermint should not be over-used or it can disturb sleep patterns. Do not use with homeopathic preparations.
